The Thirsty Carpenter creates unique, handcrafted furniture and accessories from locally-sourced wood suppliers. Our pieces reflect upon “timeless” designs when such pieces were beautiful and built to last for generations to come. Of course, we add our special touch to bring in modern artistic and functional elements into all our designs. Our goal is create items that you just can’t find anywhere else.

While we are busy creating ready-to-go pieces, we also welcome customized make-to-order designs. (Currently, local pickup and delivery in the Greater Charlotte, NC area.)

Two Matching Mahagony End Tables
Hand Crafted--Just out of the shop!

Here’s your opportunity to own two beautiful end tables made of over 1” thick African Mahagony (tops) along with solid Oak frames. Each has been meticulously crafted in a local shop, from a locally-sourced wood dealer. They are done in a “Shaker” style design, which presents a simple, clean look. (Also note the very slight taper of the legs, which also adds a bit of elegance.)

Besides their beauty, they are extremely strong due to the joints being both glued and pocket drilled. All woods were hand-stained in natural finish, with Danish oil hand-rubbed into the wood, then topped with clear urethane. These will become heirlooms passed down to your next generation! Enjoy!
